In 2007, we embarked on a 90-day journey through India and Bangladesh alongside architect Luís Ribeiro da Silva. Moving between vernacular structures and modernist landmarks — with a particular focus on the iconic works of Louis Kahn and Le Corbusier from the 1950s and 60s — we documented these architectural spaces while observing the rhythms of everyday life unfolding within and around them. This project explores the dialogue between architecture and atmosphere, between built form and lived experience.
